Management Extension
The agreement between "Mike Husby Golf" and the "Bay Mills Indian Community" was recently extended by a unanimous vote of the Tribal Council through the 2001 season.
"Mike Husby Golf has brought the perfect personel on board to assist in making Wild Bluff Golf Course the top notch facility we desire," says Tribal Chairman Jeff Parker. "His staff makes our guests feel special everyday," Parker went on to say.
Husby is pleased with the management extension adding "Bay Mills has been a great experience. I proud to be associated with the Resort and the Community."
Wild Bluff Receives Publication Award

The Wild Bluff golf course designed by Mike Husby of Gaylord was recognized by AAA of Michigan in their March 2001 issue of Michigan Living Magazine as the "Best Golf Course In Michigan's Upper Peninsula". The article complimented Mike for his tremendous use of the property in blending spectacular views with great golf.
Wild Bluff Hits The Televsion Air Ways

The fabulous new Wild Bluff Golf Course is set to air on the popular television golf series, "Golfing The Great Lakes" . The show is being filmed with host Larry Adderley playing selected holes with golf course architect, and PGA professional Mike Husby. The show displays the breathtaking views this Upper Peninsula golf course has of the St. Mary's River and Canada. This remarkable Mike Husby designed golf course weaves through natural hazards, winding ravines, rolling streams, and shifting elevation changes. "I am proud to have my third golf course featured on "Golfing The Great Lakes", said Husby, "the program does a professional job showcasing the excellent golf courses of the Midwest".
